Register to present at the STAM MTS PD Day Friday October 23, 2026. This year STAM's event is titled "Curiosity creates the future". We encourage presenters to bring presentations that celebrate creativity in the science classroom, especially in light of growing concerns around AI, misinformation, and the need for science literacy and engagement. We also encourage presenters to reflect on the need for support in implementing the new Manitoba Education science curriculum. Presenters may choose to offer a session(s) on site at Garden City Collegiate, off site at their location, and/or virtually using a hosting platform of their choice. Sessions may be all day, half day or one hour, and may repeat. There will be a keynote speaker on site at Garden City Collegiate 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Every year we provide a day long PD in October as part of MTS PD Day. This event provides professional development in all areas of science for all levels of educators from across the province. Please see the MTS member portal to register for the event over the summer months and early fall.
